Just Okay Computers & Accessories

I was thrilled when I found this case for my son's Galaxy Tab S5e as it seemed to have everything. This tablet is quite large, so I liked the idea of having a rotating stand, wrist strap, and shoulder strap for easy portability. Unfortunately, this is not the highest quality stand. First, while cutouts will fit inside a tablet, they're not exact. For example, the camera is not in the middle of the notch as expected. I think this case could be made for a different model, but the specs are close enough to work with the S5e. Second, the black plastic part that is supposed to hold the red stuff around the table often pops out. It doesn't pop out completely, but parts of the plastic pop out and need to be reattached around the tablet. Third, the stand supports the tablet when it is in a horizontal position. If the tablet is placed vertically (or portrait), the stand cannot support the tablet and it will tip over. Fourth (and it's hard to describe, sorry), the shoulder strap needs one of those pieces of plastic about halfway down the strap to hold the two pieces of material together. When the strap is shortened to the minimum length, the two parts of the strap basically overlap - think of an adjustable wallet strap that is as short as possible. In this case there is no piece of plastic holding the two pieces of material together. When you think of a strap for a handbag or even a dog collar, besides the buckle that makes the strap longer or shorter, there is usually another piece that holds the material together when it is shortened. Without this, it's easy to grab just part of the strap and suddenly the tablet falls to the ground due to the straps stretching. The wrist strap is very nice - probably the most enjoyable part of this tablet. My son is so frustrated that he's asking for a new case without all of these options just to keep it together and not worry about damaging the tablet.
