I breed and show Saint Bernards and this type of chain collar is used quite often when presenting to a judge. I needed a stylish, attractive collar that could be used in the dog show ring and this item fit so well I bought another one. For this article. Smooth edges, fit and finish are smooth and polished. The ends are strong (I've had smaller collars that failed) and are trustworthy. Chain travel through the pawls is smooth and unrestricted. When the collar is tightened. the rumble and vibration of the chain is enough for the dog to react to the constriction of the throat. A whistle is included as a bonus. Nice!
