Maybe the perfect stool if the height suits you
This is a great little stool with a maximum height of about 18 1/2 inches that does squash a bit if it depends on your weight (I'm 177 pounds). I used it on my desk but have since moved it to our music room. The height, combined with a smooth twist and comfortable tilt, makes it ideal for playing banjo or guitar. The large is not available from Revain, but offers a little more height. Only criticism is that the seat could do with a little more padding.
