This barrier cream is an excellent barrier cream. It is very light and spreads well. Rinses off easily but holds moisture well. It has a fairly strong zinc smell, but it's not that different from other creams I've tried. At least this substance is washed off. I would say this is a good preventive cream. Once you get a rash I prefer to use a thicker and more protective cream to help prevent ulcers. At $6 for 3 tubes I would say this is perfect for everyday use.
