Built well: my feedback

It appears to be up to militart specs. It's not cheaply made regardless of the ecomomical price. The pouch makes it easy to store in a bug-out bag.

Pros
  • Very accurate. Light weight and easy to use.
Cons
  • Too complicated for my use and provides no step by step instructions for beginner use.

Fraudulent Listing -- Not a microgram of Tritium in this Compass

A "tritium" compass should have highlights that glow CONSTANTLY, a necessity in complete darkness. This has the usual "glow in the dark" coating that glows for about 10 seconds after exposure to strong light, then goes dark. Utterly USELESS in the one situation where you NEED the needle & dial to be luminous. Returned for refund, what a waste of time. C'mon, Revain, kick these charlatans off your site, will you?

Not a Tritium Compass

If you are interested in a compass that you can see at night.this is not it. It works fine in the daylight and has not adjust for declination. Well made and looks good.

Heavy Metal good for me

This is one heavy compass. If you cannot find your way out of the wilderness, you could always use it to kill animals for food if you could get close enough.The pouch is really cheap. The operation of the compass showed lack of quality manufacturing. Some movements were stiff and others almost seemed like the part would fall off.It did point North, which is better than some cheap stuff you find here.

I like this style over the traditional lensatic compasses. It is not tritium at this price.

I love the new style sighting lens. Easier for far sighted folks to get a reading. There are better compasses out there, but this is a solid middle of the road one.

Had a lensatic compass in the army didn't look nothing like this, this one the US military should have.Looks good light weight great deal

The compass reminds me of the one I had in the military. Very easy to use, and the instruction booklet, for those who need it, was complete.

Pros
  • It is nice to have a good compass again. I have a very old one, but it is not as sturdy nor accurate.
Cons
  • The compass does not have any additional features or bells and whistles that some customers may expect from a premium device
