I like the added reassurance that my luggage stays together after being thrown, stepped on and hit by handlers. It took me a while to find the size of my suitcase, but now that I have it, it doesn't take long to bypass my suitcase. One problem is the buckle. It's plastic and I hope it can withstand the rigors of the airport system and not break. So there is a star. So far it's been good. I learned to put the plastic buckle under the carry handle as much as possible to protect it from breaking. To be on the safe side, I can secure the ends with a carabiner. I also use it to strap my hand luggage to the telescoping handle when I'm in the airport terminal.
