Excellent board - replace the balls.

A compact game that is good but the balls are small and slippery - very uncomfortable! I went to a bead shop and bought black lava stone beads that were larger than spheres. They look better and are easier to handle. I took the board to the bead shop.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Something different

The wooden base is solid and the balls sit well in the recesses.

I bought this solitaire for my kids to play with over the summer and beyond. The wooden base is solid and the balls sit well in the recesses and don't travel around the board without permission. Something that would make this item a 5 star product would be balls of different colors. We actually changed the black color to multicolored marble and enjoy using it much more.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Very small product for sports and outdoor games

I've wanted one like this ever since I saw my friends. The big one like hers was no longer available so I ordered this one. I like what is made in the USA. It's just too small and the balls are cheap, small and irregular. It doesn't give me the peaceful feeling that a game with its much larger set gives. I'm thinking of bringing it back and looking for a much larger version. I think it's overpriced for a small piece of wood and quality marble at the dollar store.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Simple but complex. fun game.

We've played this game about 10 times, but we still haven't won. It's hard to win. It's easy to play and fun. It is very difficult to try to clear the entire board except for the remaining ball in the center hole. This game costs $18. For $18 you get a really nice thick wooden board, nice shiny black marbles and a black marble storage bag. The game is made in the USA and the quality is obvious. I recommend to everyone.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • boring packaging

Nearly perfect. suitable for outdoor sports and play

The board is very good and the wood is nice. However, the clear coat is spotted on the top, particularly in the carved areas of the wood where it is sometimes uncoated. It could definitely use an extra coat of paint from the manufacturer. It's not terrible and I'm probably making it worse than it actually is, but there are definitely a few areas that need extra coverage because they feel like there's nothing on them. I thought about contacting the manufacturer but decided against it.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • not sure

Puzzle in Marble Games

Bought for my son. While not as exciting as electronic toys, it's definitely a keeper. Children love to take turns collecting as few balloons as possible. We often change the rules. Sometimes we play to keep as many balls as possible. Sometimes we play one on one and try to keep the other person motionless. It is very funny. I love it because it really gets kids thinking and gets them thinking a few steps ahead. My children are 7 and 8 years old. Good quality wood for the price. I was expecting

Great game with wood and marbles

I love wooden games, especially the ones that can use marbles. This take on the classic game of Marble Solitaire is great for the coffee table, but is also great fun solo. It's great fun to challenge yourself to see how few balls can stay on the board. I still have ways to beat this game as my personal record so far is only four. What's also fun is that it's possible to play the entire game, or if you're having a busy day you can go back and forth as it's impossible to forget where you last…

Great nostalgia puzzle, good figure for coffee or coffee table.

I ordered this feeling nostalgic as it reminds me of being with my grandparents. They had this puzzle on their coffee table and I played with it every time we came. My grandma finally showed me how to solve this problem and I've never forgotten it! It's a little smaller than my grandparents, but strong. I ordered different balloons for him because I wanted them to be more colourful. I like that the instructions are on the back and I also like that it's made in the USA. I'm glad I have him…

NOT TOO BIG, NOT TOO SMALL AND ALSO RIGHT!

I used to play this game a lot when I was a kid. Now I am 58 years old and bought it again. It's a fun puzzle game that keeps me entertained while my husband is watching sports on TV or while there's a commercial on TV while I'm watching a movie. Marble Solitaire or Solitaire Chess is a strategy game in which the player tries to clear the playing field of marbles by bouncing stones into empty spaces and removing the bouncing marbles, similar to bouncing stones in checkers. The ultimate goal of…
