Review on Marble Solitaire Made In USA by Jerome Pernell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

NOT TOO BIG, NOT TOO SMALL AND ALSO RIGHT!

I used to play this game a lot when I was a kid. Now I am 58 years old and bought it again. It's a fun puzzle game that keeps me entertained while my husband is watching sports on TV or while there's a commercial on TV while I'm watching a movie. Marble Solitaire or Solitaire Chess is a strategy game in which the player tries to clear the playing field of marbles by bouncing stones into empty spaces and removing the bouncing marbles, similar to bouncing stones in checkers. The ultimate goal of the game is to leave one remaining ball in the middle of the field. This wooden solitaire board is just the right size as opposed to the smaller version I previously bought. It is made of solid wood and the ball holes are far enough apart so that when playing, your fingers do not hit the balls next to the moving ball and of course do not fall out. Even if they slip out of your fingers, they'll roll and land on the groove that surrounds the playing field. Also, this version of solitaire chess has 4 more holes (and therefore 4 more balls) at the corners, which makes it even more interesting given the difficulty of the level. it is forward. This is a quick game for instant gratification.
