The tiles and dungeon pieces themselves are of solid quality. Yes, the clips are a nightmare to deal with, and nearly impossible to remove (you have to use leverage and angles to get them out, and even then your fingers are rubbed raw).Now, I just build sets on the fly instead of using the clips. First off, this product is gorgeous. It's an inexpensive way to build 3D scenes for your battles. This is, by far, a recommended buy. But the included "WarLock" connectors they originally manufactured are awful. Simply awful. There are other reviews which mention this, and it needs to be repeated.Instead, you should make sure you include the "EZ Clips" connectors in your order. To start off with I want to say I was initially very excited for these tiles. I print open lock tiles at home and I was happy to have a quick way to expand the collection. They even included A hand full of adapter clips!Unfortunately the clips are all but useless. They are far too rigid to fit in either the Open Lock tiles or the Warlock tiles they were intended for. My first dungeon tile set was too dark and smelled like sealant but amazon replaced them and the replacement looks great. Just what I expected from wizkids, great quality and durable tile set. My one gripe would be the warlock clips, they're too hard to put together tiles with. Now as a forewarning I did research before buying this and everyone seemed to agree that putting the actual pieces together can be hard. I will say that is an understatement. So I want to alter my review. The clips are still a nightmare. I just got some vice grips to help and its been ok. It is a nice system for the price. I struggled putting the clips in and taking them out, even my husband said get the pliers, this is ridiculous. I contemplated keeping for other types of terrain like docks or using the walls doors on top of the matt but these are just not put together well. God forbid you try to attach a piece to an L corner, good luck getting that to work! No, I waited until Feb on a pre order for these, but they are promptly going back, I cannot use something that doesn't work even to assemble it.

While the detail and durability are great a handful of walls and floors in my set weren't quite glued together properly and has made them unusable.I'd love to suggest these to others but this was a pretty bad first experience.

First off these tiles are beautiful for pre painted. They are coated in two layers one black and then he next being brown or grey. People are complaining that it’s a little tough to put the clips in but i don’t think so at all. I’m 14 years old and some of these grown ass adults are complaining. It was so easy and my thumbs were fine after 2 hours of building. I love it. I’m going to save up and buy it again.

There were supposed to be 4 straight cracked walls and 4 straight walls. And i got 8 cracked straight walls. I have the same amount of playable pieces, but i wish they would have in the the box what is advertised. Still a great product!

These lights add a nice touch to the final tile with the boss. You have to push pretty hard to get the light to change. The original battery must have been older, when we replaced it the lights are brighter and stronger.

I pre-ordered these a few months ago and I'm very pleased with the quality. Great sculpt and paint job, clips are very sturdy but I was still able to insert and take them out with my hands. The box it came with has a plastic handle and doubles as long term organization/storage.
