I have used this daily for about 3 weeks. It does what it is supposed to do and have decided that a long lead is safer than a retractable leash for training and allowing a bit more freedom while still having my 85-pound fun loving young dog. As expected, you need to be aware of where the leash is on the ground if allowing it to drag so you don't step on it, or constantly gather it-let it out but it has been great for training. As it has no traffic handle, I find that using a good quality harness allows me to control my dog by the harness backstrap if needed. Cleans well. Bright color so other dog owners can clearly see my dog is on a leash and they are more apt to leash theirs and not let their dog run up to mine.
