Review on ๐Ÿ”Š Yeeco HiFi 2.1 Channel Amplifier Board - 80W+80W+100W Stereo Audio Amplifier with Acrylic Case & Adjustment Knob by Bryan King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Compact and Loud

I bought this unit to power six pairs of ceiling speakers and one ceiling subwoofer. I did not connect the subwoofer directly to the Yeeco dual amp as the subwoofer is already connected to the speakers via two passive 3-way crossovers and they appear to be working fine. Anyway, back to the amp, I connected three pairs of left speakers to the left output of the amp and three pairs to the right output. At first I used the 12V power supply to power the board, but turning up the volume turned off the speakers. I then tried a 19V power supply and that seemed to fix the speaker disconnecting issue. Even when switched on, the music is clear, loud and without distortion. To test the speakers, I used a Pandora connected Android phone. first with a 3.5mm cable and then with a Bluetooth transmitter also connected to the 3.5mm input. I didn't notice any real difference between the two input connectors. However, Bluetooth, IMO, is the way to go because of its flexibility. When your phone is within range, you have better access to all phone functions, including answering or making calls. One thing about Bluetooth adapters; When I first connected this Bluetooth transmitter, I did it using the 3.5mm male-to-male connector that came with the adapter, but there was a loud buzzing noise coming from the speakers. At first I thought the board had issues with Bluetooth adapters, but it turns out that the 3.5mm male-to-male, which is thicker than a regular 3.5mm cable, does , since this board is enclosed in an acrylic case does not sit. to the entrance 3.5 mm. Using a 3.5mm male to male cable solves this problem. So if this happens to you there are three options, one is to remove the acrylic case, the other is to use a 3.5mm cable instead of a hard plug and the third is to unscrew the hole in the Enlarge acrylic body to accommodate a larger 3.5mm plug. connector. Well as far as the board goes everything works fine and the board does what it's supposed to do well. I can't test the subwoofer output yet, but if I get a chance I'll do exactly that and come back with the results. But for now I can only recommend it. The ambient temperature changes and can affect the board and transistors. A fan is an inexpensive way to extend the life of your board, especially if you use it for a long time. You can buy a $5 computer fan here at Revain (I use a 40mm fan) that plugs into the board's power supply. I prefer the fan to blow air directly into the board rather than pulling air out, but it should work either way. Please note that you may need to modify the top of the case to allow for better airflow.
