Unfortunately I have to say. that this cage allows all your little birds to escape. We have had parakeets for over 12 years. same pedigree and about 5 months ago they all escaped! We blame ourselves and think it was human error that we kind of left the door open a month ago or something. all our new parrots are gone too. This time I inspected the cage and the cage was closed. and we could not find a hole large enough for the parrot to fly away. Today, October 7, 2021, I decided to buy birds for my mother. and after examining the cell. I have found that the doors leave a BIG gap so if a bird finds them it can easily fly away! So the OPENING of the doors is not tight and the separation gives the bird enough space to fly away! sad. it broke my mother heard twice. lose all their birds. after caring for so many for so many years. from the couple to eggs to new children. . TERRIBLE. I hope you read this so you don't suffer the same pain my mom did!
