Review on πŸ“ Taylor Precision Products Glass Digital Mini Scale - Expands Up to 350lbs - White with Expandable Read Out by Melissa Kula

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very small, difficult to stand on, 1.2 pounds heavier than my other scales, lasted 3-3.5 years.

The thing is small. I'm a male with shoe size 8.5-9 and standing in them takes some practice. In the "open" position (the glass moves apart), my toes dangled about an inch from the front edge. It was quite difficult to balance, so I learned to reach out and gently touch the wall or bathroom counter to get a reading. You must touch the wall or counter so that your finger's pressure is "sideways" and not "down" to avoid falsifying the readings. I learned to reach out and lightly touch the countertop or door frame with the back of my hand for balance. OK, enough of that. They weighed 1.2-1.6 pounds heavier (but usually 1.2) than my other Taylor digital scales at home. The size is perfect for traveling. After about 3 1/2 years it stopped working; The numbers will appear, but they will be everywhere and the scale will never "hang" on a specific weight. I changed the battery but that didn't help. I will probably buy it again because of the size and the price.
