Push the tabs inward while lowering the door and accessing the cabin air filter. Then take the tabs on the filter housing. Pull out the old filter and insert the new filter. Then replace the glove box door and place the items back in the glove box. The second time it's about a 5 minute job. Figuring out how to get the glove box door to swing out of the way can be a little tricky the first time around.
