After noticing that my children brush their teeth in about 10 seconds I decided to buy them electric toothbrushes with a two minute timer. I found them and ordered one for each child. They are doing a great job helping a child brush their teeth for 2 minutes BUT after a few weeks I noticed my daughter's teeth were not clean even after brushing. I sent her back to brush and watched her and she moved the toothbrush over all her teeth and when she was done they still weren't clean! The thing is, the heads of these brushes are actually very small, and the bristles are very, VERY soft. So if your little one doesn't bother tapping and pressing on each tooth, this tiny soft toothbrush won't help at all, even if he brushes his teeth for a full 2 minutes. In short, make sure your little ones know they're still exerting themselves and need to be manually brushing in circular motions, pressing down on all of their teeth to ensure this little, soft electric toothbrush gets the job done.
