A bit noisy, great price, works.
So my landlords had a ventless range hood installed and I've been doing this for years. Next to the hood, I felt cold and warm drafts of air, depending on the season. Out of curiosity, I took it off one day and found that the air duct worked! I quickly ordered this item and a power cord adapter so I can plug it into an outlet in my closet. Boom, now I don't turn on the fire alarm on the other side of the house while cooking and the particle counter on the air filter in the living room hardly ever goes up while cooking; it has reached its limit of "999" in the past. The only downside I can live with is that the thing is pretty noisy at high rpm, at low rpm it's not bad at all. I can live with a fan and the knowledge that I can cook at high power without setting off a smoke alarm.
