🔥 Broan-NuTone BCSD130SS Glacier 30-inch Stainless Steel Range Hood with Light and Exhaust Fan for Under Cabinet Review

Installation was easy. Judging by the video, it sucks smoke very well. I used to have a 600cfm exhaust fan so I figured it wouldn't work that well, but it seems to work. Of course, the pipe to the roof runs straight, with no bends, which is very helpful. So far it looks good, works well and seems to be of very good quality. A worthy upgrade of our kitchen.

After doing this for a while I have to say I am very disappointed. The problem is that the filters keep falling out. The company quickly sent a new set of filters the first time I contacted them, but the second time I contacted them I was basically told to try to fix the problem myself. I really think this is a design flaw. I feel like I'm stuck at this point.

Seems well done for the most part. The one man installation system worked pretty well. BUT, the bracket that holds the fan motor is just clamped. One side came off the bracket causing the motor not to turn. I had to put it back. I'm not sure how long he will be there. And the sleeve to protect the power supply cable in the place of its entry is not provided. How much can this plastic bushing cost? Come on, Broan, don't be mean. And seriously, you're mixing slotted and Philips set screws. Choose

Perfect! I've never installed a range hood before but it was so easy to do. There is an installation option for one person, it's cool! It looks so good! The suction power is great! You can use it with or without an air duct, which is a good feature. I use the no-duct option and the charcoal filters you buy separately filter everything out! I bought this range hood to replace a Broan hood I installed when I built my house 25 years ago. The fan on this hood is much quieter and moves more air than the original. I really like the light from the halogen bulbs, but I think Broan should include them with the purchase. The hoods we received had lighting issues. The low setting didn't work. We used LED bulbs. Then we realized that we should try halogen lamps. They worked! Make sure you use halogen lights. Replaced an old 30 year old Rangemaster hood with this one. It didn't take long to remove the vent and rearrange my closet. Installation was fairly easy, install the brackets then slide the hood into place and screw on. I decided to install an outlet in my closet above the range hood and use the power cord. First of all, this product was very difficult to install. It came with some "EZ-Installations" mounts which I assume will work in the right environment, but I just couldn't get them to work. The unit was light and easy to lift, but I needed a third lever to set it up properly. However, while I was lifting it, someone else couldn't get under me to drill holes or insert screws.
