WORKS PERFECTLY AND DURABLE IF...

Lamp changer very suitable for home use. Not recommended for commercial use. Cut one side of the wrapper to open and save for later. See Photo #4. To minimize the risk of dropping a used bulb1. First wipe the lamp with a clean cloth to remove dust and dirt. As a test, I put a suction cup on a used lightbulb and didn't get very good suction. After cleaning the bulb, the clutch was perfect. Attach the fabric to the extension with Velcro, tape, or something else. Make sure the suction cup is clean too. See photo #1.2. Screw the lamp changer onto the extension and hand-tighten the thumbscrew until the lamp changer rotates in either direction without excessive force. This will prevent the handle from becoming loose when handling a used or new lamp. See photo #2. See photo #3 of the protected bulb.3. DO NOT WIND ROPE ON MAST. In this case, the cord can tighten, the suction is released and the lamp falls off. STORING THE LAMP CHANGER If you are like most people, the lamp changer is not used very often. Here are some tips for making your lamp changer last as long as the suction cups will last, whatever they are. Cut the thread from the suction cup and find something to wrap the thread around. When you need it again, you won't have to deal with knots and tangles. Cutting a string per inch doesn't matter in the long run. I used a small piece of wood. See photos #3B and 5. Cut off one side of the packaging so you can put the lamp changer back in when you're done and tape it in place. This minimizes the chance of the mug being damaged if it is stored in the back of a drawer, bin or other forgotten place until needed. If you get a good crease in the cup, it's junk. See photo #4.
