Overall robust cables. The price is only a plus. There were also 16 gauge versions of this brand which were very strong cables. They are definitely heavier for 12 gauge. Of course. Very well done. I listen to a lot of audio so I can assure you this is definitely not a placebo effect. You can hear more detail and fullness in the sound. The 16 gauge sounded great, but the sound was a little thinner. I have had and used more expensive "high end" cables. Save money and buy them. Invest in better speakers and good, clean, reliable amplifier power and performance. Unless you have speakers and amps that cost upwards of $3,000-$4,000, and there's no need for anything more expensive in the form of cables. As always, do your research, examine your gear, and make the best decision. But it's great.
