Amazing Door Squelch

My new bedroom is literally next to our front door and our front door is right next to the stairs of our home. This means I hear people's voices as they go up and down the stairs. I bought this noise screen hoping to reduce the noise from my neighbors. It works? To be honest I can't hear anything from the outside right now (and I would know because it would annoy me like hell). It also means I can turn on my music and my neighbors won't hear *me*. double win. Usage: 1) Line it up along the closed door so the bottom just touches the floor (barely). 2) Gently tap the glue to stick, but don't press until sure. your positioning. 3) Now open and close the door to see how hard it scratches the floor. The floors can be uneven so you shouldn't have a hard time opening the door. 4) When you feel confident the strip is a decent seal/block, press down on the adhesive. Ready! I'm only taking off a star because of the sticky backing. You have to make sure you stick it on correctly, otherwise the paint may peel off your door and you won't be able to use the sticky backing anymore. My suggestion for a product is to use the best glue that allows for customization. If you are looking for a draft limiter or noise suppressor, this product may be for you. highlighted.
