I always get nervous when kids use our hubs because they are quite expensive. They take care of their stuff, but still. Anyway I bought them this hub for their 1 port laptop. To be honest I wasn't expecting much because it was cheap but it was definitely a pleasant surprise. This is a 3.0 hub with 4 USB ports. It's small, weighs almost nothing and is very portable. The cable is 4 inches. I wish it was much longer but it is doable. Transfer speeds are actually decent, but I like that data can be transferred simultaneously. So I choose a slightly slower speed and the ability to do multiple things at once, rather than a slightly faster speed and doing one thing at a time. It does not require a driver, it works according to the "plug and playβ principle. In addition, it has built-in overcurrent protection for each port. This protects your devices and hub from high voltage levels. For all it can do and how easy it is to use, I would buy it again and again.
