My first purchase of this item was great. The backlight of the collar is bright and clearly visible from afar on the car. I decided to buy a second one in a different color but that was a problem. It kept going from steady to blinking and turning itself off. When I reported the defect to the seller, he immediately sent me a replacement. The replacement collar works great. I decided to test the collar out to see how long it could hold a charge without darkening. First, I fully charged the collar by leaving it plugged in for about 6-8 hours. Then I took my dog for a long 2.5 hour night walk. I then left the collar on continuously for another 5 hours and it was still glowing brightly after 7+ hours! I have other general purpose spot LED collars and they dim noticeably after being in constant mode for about 1 hour (note: I'm just comparing this to other LED collars with spots all over the collar). This collar is a little more expensive than the cheap regular ones, but it's really worth it if you're going to be wearing your dog a collar for a long period of time. In addition, the seller offers excellent customer service.
