Not copper wire, steel with some aluminum. They are slightly magnetic
The durability is decent, but the wires are not copper. So for 12 AWG expect it to only handle short of 20 amps. The flexibility and build quality for the insulation is perfect and as expected for a great quality insulation. The value for money is bad. A little high priced. The heat resistance is actually what it claims on the wire. On my wire it says 300⁰C and it holds up to 250⁰C very easily. So not bad.Overall, if you have lots of money to spend get this. Of not then don't. I got it because I was in a pinch and well it was decently within my budget.

- Doubt there is any copper in this. very fine strand silver wire. Stay away, hard to work with
