I also thought that there was no needle in my kit, but I was wrong - it is in a small transparent bag in the package, it is very easy to miss, but it is securely packed. Beautiful design and I love the 6" size as I have a vintage 6" tire that I want to display with a piece in it. This kit might not be as generous with thread as some of the kits I've used, but for the price and everything else I'm not disappointed. 5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is, nothing more nothing less.
