Koopman's Splitter/Downscaler is half the price of the other options available and works great! This was a key piece of the puzzle that supported what I was trying to achieve (the TV's dynamic ambient lighting system). LEDs can dynamically adapt to the signal coming from the FireTV flash drive. It was a great addition to the family room. This solution costs about $150 in total. See photo!
