Review on 🌟 Brightech Ambience Pro - White LED Globe Outdoor String Lights - Waterproof, 1W Vintage Edison Bulbs - 26 Feet Patio Lights Establish a Bistro Atmosphere in Your Backyard by April Russell

Generally satisfied, with some caveats.

Very pleased with the look of these lights. They look great under and on my patio and create a lovely atmosphere in what used to be a dreary lighting fixture. Installation was a breeze once I had my feeder circuit set up, as you would expect with lightweight threads of this nature. I have a few reservations (why am I only giving 4 stars) but maybe there is room for improvement on the part of the seller? 1) The lights are 2 feet apart and that's fine. until you tie the two strands together. The problem comes from the 2 feet from the plug to the first bulb and the additional 2 feet from the last bulb to the outlet. When this happens in the middle of a light strand (i.e. not at a corner or bend) you are 4 feet from the last candle in a strand to the first candle in the first. If you want to keep the 2 foot spacing, you will need to tie the wires and connectors together to reduce the spacing at the junction between the wires to 2 feet between the bulbs. If you are unlucky with the location, this again results in an unsightly setup. 2) It's not so much a downside: if you install these lights in a clean, dark environment, they're sure to brighten up your world. They are very bright (put your sunglasses on brightly), much brighter than the 10w equivalent per bulb on the spec sheet (that's the equivalent luminosity of 120w per filament or 2 x 60w bulbs: trust me , one of these filaments will put out much more light). more light than 2 light bulbs with 60 watts!). The supplier should suggest or recommend a dimmer for installations where you want a little less light and more atmosphere. Luckily I was able to replace a dimmer I've used successfully in the past because I tied my strands to the light switch circuit that powers the other lights under my patio shed: the LUTRON model "DIVA Dimmer". DV-600PR-VCh. I've had great luck with this single pole switch for other LED bulbs in the house (even bulbs not marked as "dimmable") and it was the same here. I get a good gradation of light intensity, from maximum to almost minimum switch position (at which point the light goes off). Very happy about it and thought other people would like to know!
