The first thing I noticed about this carrier right after unpacking it is a very pretty blue color! Then I noticed all the other features (except the ability to use them for air travel). This stretcher can be used for all daily commutes including a trip to the vet. At home, this carrier allows me to comfortably carry my 19 year old cat with arthritis up and down stairs that are difficult for her. That helps to support them properly when carrying them and we don't have to worry about hurting them. The soft padding inside the backpack is not only soft and comfortable, but also feels durable. I don't think I will remove fiber every time one of my cats is moved. I don't like dealing with extra grooming. I also like the zipper clips to keep the carrier closed even if my cat paws at the zippers. I've found my thumbs to have a hard time opening the rather small clips, but a little practice should help! It would also be nice if an information sheet with instructions for cleaning and use were included, but I'm sure I'll find my way around relatively quickly. I am very happy with my purchase.
