We vacation a lot and most of the time we have some kind of signal outside but in our camper the service is useless so I got this and it works great. I mounted it on a stand on a portable satellite dish stand and connected it via the external satellite port and internally I hardwired it to the satellite port behind the TV. When I arrive at the campsite, I simply walk around the camper, find the best service signal via the app on my cell phone and set up a tripod with tent pegs there so that it doesn't tip over.
