Very impressed with this phone gimbal

This is a great little gimbal! After a few days of use I am very satisfied with the quality and design. However, it took a while to learn keyboard shortcuts (each button on the gimbal has multiple functions depending on the number of quick presses. The instruction manual is helpful with this). After learning all the button commands, I found the gimbal very easy to use and the footage very stable. What I liked: - The stabilizer arm is really well designed. It comes off the back of the phone at an angle that allows you to shoot with a wide-angle lens without getting into the frame. With other stabilizers with a different design, this can be a problem. It's really light and compact. When folded, it easily fits in my pocket. It also felt pretty solid when folded. I wasn't too concerned about tossing it in my bag or pulling it out of my bag without a case. One button 90 degree rotation function. Allows you to actually switch between landscape and portrait shots. Also incredibly useful is the phone's auto-flip when you flip the gimbal upside down to shoot low to the ground. Application. All in all it's pretty good. The app lets you use the gimbal in ways you can't use your phone's stock camera. My favorites were slow motion and the face and object tracking features. What I didn't like: The drawstring bag that came with it is too small. It barely closed and just didn't fit the stabilizer well enough to be very useful.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
