The mounting hardware provided with this product is not universal. The included molybdenum screws didn't press against the wall as firmly as intended, likely due to the thickness of the wall, creating a less than ideal grip between the mounting bracket and the wall. This could easily have been avoided if I had used my own gear, but once the Mollies are driven into the wall there really is no turning back without some serious repair work. The hook itself is fine for our purposes as it is only for drying towels in the guest bathroom and is not used often. Small hands are an advantage during installation as the miniature screw can be deftly tightened with the supplied miniature hex wrench. Everything will be fine now, but I wouldn't buy it again.
