Review on 🦵 DonJoy Reaction Web Knee Support Brace: Grey, Medium/Large – Enhanced with Compression Undersleeve by Chris Long

I play for a semi-professional Frisbee team. A typical week I play more than 15 hours. I was recently diagnosed with patella tracking issues in both knees. I already had a right knee brace and needed a left knee brace. It was way cheaper than the type I already had so I ordered this one instead. The brace does the job and keeps my knee level when running, sprinting, jumping, lunging, etc. I like to wear a sleeve underneath as it reduces the discomfort caused by the rubber material chafing against my skin. The tape is pretty strong. I've been through a lot including a lot of landings/sliding. The biggest disadvantage of this orthosis is the Velcro. I've been wearing this orthosis for about 3 months and the band is already showing clear signs of wear. The velcro no longer adheres very well and the material has stretched so much that it is difficult to keep it taut. Functionally, the brace will work again if this part is replaced, but I can't find a way to just buy the strap. For the price it's a little disappointing that the strap fails but I've been through a lot. The pullup still works and I still use it, but I have to reset it every 15 minutes. All in all, I like the braces so much that I would buy them again. Wearing the strap is annoying, but I haven't had any knee pain related to patella tracking since I started using it.
