This worked great for my '00 Mercruiser 5.7L.

Fits perfectly as a replacement for my '00 Mercruiser 5.7 liter thermostat housing but be sure to remove any old gasket residue. The dual bars on each side should hold the correct thickness of washer while tightening the case screws. No leaks.
