Medications caused premature menopause and hot flashes! At 45, I've never experienced such a sudden "warmth" or such a personal summer as I remember my mom calling her a long time ago. This fan is a game changer! I had a battery powered fan that I carried with me at all times, in my purse, in bed, in the kitchen, but I ran out of batteries every few days because of the sheer number of times. I had to "cool off quick" or start undressing. So I searched for a battery powered fan and this little contraption saved me (and my kids as you can see the looks of embarrassment and disgust on their faces as the sweat starts dripping and I start to undress). This fan is lightweight. , rechargeable with the little USB cable they give, and POWERFUL! There are 3 levels but honestly level 3 is enough to relax you. I like that the fan's "arms" are bendable so you can customize the circles of the fan blades. It even has beds that fold down to make it more compact for a handbag or small space travel. And I like how the power and color change buttons are placed on the fan circles. This allows easy access to it when worn around the neck. Now for the colors - that's a nice little perk. My kids love this feature and have seen them grab my fan with g Light. simply because it's a cool feature, especially in the dark. I personally don't use it, but after a little over a month I see that I can no longer control and adjust colors. I used to be able to switch between each color and choose which one to stop with with a single click, but now it's just one click and it starts with red and switches automatically - without stopping at any color. I'm not deducting a single star for that because it could be me. I've thrown and dropped this fan many times, and while it accidentally "turned on" in my purse, it may have affected it in some way. I don't mind that as the fan still works amazing and the colors still work just different and I bought the non-color fan anyway. This fan is great at high tide or when you are out walking and need a fan, not just outdoor hikes. I've been to stores and used it as needed. It allows me to be hands free and I always get a lot of questions about it and people are fascinated by it. It can also "sit" on its own and behave like a regular fan. Double win!
