I tried to bend the hinges to see how it worked and could not get them ( zip tried several) and a friend tried and could not get any of them to budge. Also, no instructions on how to use them. I know I can look online, but I shouldn't have to find it. I'm going to ask a couple more people in case I'm doing something wrong. Bought these to replace the hinges on our outdoor pool cabinet after a storm blew the doors off and ripped the hinges out of the frame. They were easy to install. I installed 6 hinges on two doors and had them hung back on the cabinet in less than an hour. We had a storm last night with high winds like the ones that ripped the doors off before and they didn’t budge this time. Definitely a good product.

Either there were not instructions provided earlier or the people who posted negative comments chose not to read them. There was a one page set of instructions show a picture of hinge placement in different applications with the required clearance. Very simple. It takes minimal skillls to install the hinges. The hinges are very sturdy.

These are the worst. I should’ve listened to the reviews. Even my boyfriend hurt himself trying to get these damn things to open. They’re near-imposible to open and then they snap shut on your fingers like a freakin bear trap. Ridiculous. I always thought that to conceal hinges from the outside of a cabinet, I would need to install the European hinges. Although nice, the Hosom Concealed Cabinet Hinge is a nice, clean, easy to install choice that provides equal concealment without the fuss or the need to purchase jigs for the perfect install.

Great no drill hinge. However, these include flathead screws but the holes are not countersunk. Poor choice of hardware and no mention of this in the description.

I was not sure these would work, as the hinges I had on my kitchen cabinets were very non-standard. I could not use the newer style hinges that require a cupped insert in the wood. It took some workarounds, but in the final analysis, these hinges worked and fitted well. Because they are refits they don't hold the doors closed well, but I just added magnetic latches to each door and now they are working well.

Nice. Tool a little to figure out, never installed hinges before. They work nice and wasnt that hard to install. I will buy more of these gor my next project.

These hinges are nice and big. hold bigger cabinet doors nicely. The reason I gave it a 4 star, it doesn't come with any instructions, you figure it out. They normally sell to the contractors, but due to internet marketplace they are now selling directly to the consumer, but they don't want to invest in some manual. Any way. Just as I suspected, all of the one star reviews were from people who simply don't have the mechanical ability to mount a hinge. It isn't rocket science, but if you mount them wrong, it is possible to pull all of your mounting screws out if you force them closed.

I had 30 year old cabinets with outside hinges and I used these hidden hinges to update my cabinets without replacing them. My husband installed all of them with no issues and we repainted. A big change without a large investment.

These are good hinges however they do suffer a tad. They seem to have some weakness however they do a great job. One thing that lacks is the instructions, I wish they were cleared when trying to install so it took me a little bit to get them correct however once i figured it out it works great.

Bought these unique hinges to install a hidden door in a wood panel wall along some cabinets. I played with these things before I installed them and just thought they were too stiff to work. I put them on anyway so I would know for sure and BINGO, they worked! The door is flush with the rest of the wall and these hinges allow it to pivot out and open which a normal hinge would not. These are really hard to work with. They ended up giving me what I wanted (hiding cabinet hinges), but these were awful to install. They’re hard to "unsnap,” but also easily bend under cabinet weight if you don’t align perfectly. The screws they came with just break as well.

If you do your homework, these are a great kitchen upgrade especially if you're repurposing existing cabinetry. Overall good product so far, I ordered soft close and got the standard close. Was behind on a project timeline so I couldn't send back and reorder. Way cheaper than buying from local box store at least, but would have for sure gotten soft close.

These look the same as all the others, but less expensive. They are the same size and are used in the same way.I dont see that I would have a problem using them if they are the same as the other brands.If I update this review it will be because they didn't work properly.

I built a behind-the-seat storage box for the truck and needed hinges for the lift-up doors. These worked perfectly. They hold the door open until I push it back down and the tension is just right.They do seem extremely "stiff" if you try to manipulate them in your hand. I was concerned about this too, so I mounted one to two small scraps of wood and it opened and closed easily.
