Too tight! Broke my cabinet!

These are so so tight! There are 3 of them I couldn't get to open or close no matter what I did. After finally installing two doors, it cracked the wood after a few weeks. I tried to loosen them but there is no way. I do NOT recommend buying these ones!

Pros
  • I like this hinge, because it’s easy to install!
Cons
  • The hinges may not fit precisely, leaving gaps

Works on rabbeted doors

All of my cabinets are rabbeted. These are the only hidden hinges that I could find that would work for them without breaking the bank. These work amazingly. They are not soft close—but I didn’t need that. They do the job and do it well.

Pros
  • ‎Cold Rolled Steel
Cons
  • The hinges may not be compatible with certain cabinet hardware

Great Hinges - Smooth Operation Once Installed

These are great hinges. Once they are fully installed, they work perfectly. Very smooth motion and sturdy/secure hold.I read a bunch of reviews that gave a poor rating because the purchaser was unable to bend the hinges with their hands before they were installed. That is true. You cannot be bend these hinges until one side is installed. As soon as one side is installed you can bend them with ease. The rigidity is what makes them so sturdy. If you really want to to bend them before installing…

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • The hinges may not provide sufficient strength for heavy cabinet doors

Completely locked up.

Completely locked up. No instructions anywhere on the web. Horrible experience. This put a major dent into my kitchen renovation.

Pros
  • Easy to install, even for a amateur.
Cons
  • The hinges may not be compatible with certain types of cabinets

First off - Works on old 1960s cabinets to transform from outside hinges (the ones you can see when the cabinets are closed) to concealed hinges - notes below:Few things that I learned that I wish I was able to find in the Ebay reviews:— this is the ONLY concealed hinge that would work with old cabinet doors that have the rabbeted edge (see pictures - the way that it has the weird lip on the edge of the cabinet ) this one works because it pushes the door out slightly (but it doesn’t look weird)

Pros
  • Just as described and works perfectly
Cons
  • The hinges may not be durable and wear out quickly

These hinges are very limited in final adjustments.

I would not use these hinges again. Swing only 90 degrees. No up or down adjustments. Screws that came with them were the wrong type, ie trumpet heads instead of pan heads. Difficult to open open and close without pinching your fingers. If at all possible, use the European hinges. Far more flexible.

Pros
  • Wide Application
Cons
  • The hinges may not be adjustable, making it difficult to achieve a perfect fit

Pros
  • instructions would be helpful, otherwise a good value, i would buy again now that i know how to install
Cons
  • The installation instructions may not be clear
