ROKR Wooden Puzzle Building Mechanical Review

Very cute, as a former tooth cutter I couldn't believe the accuracy of this puzzle, it's really cute. gives me something to do I will buy more of these villains. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS PRODUCT!

If you're not careful you'll break these small fragile pieces of wood. It's fun to assemble but you'll probably need glue unless you're a model surgeon which I'm sure you have (good for you). And in the end, what will you do with this fool? Decoration... please...

I liked the ROKR marble walkways BUT many parts are fragile and break easily during installation. If you follow the instructions in the order of the parts, you will end up trying to clumsily assemble the parts, which may cause them to break.

This set was a great start for me to create future wooden sets. Things may or may not work as promised in terms of steel ball behavior. But again, it's very nice to build and it taught me to be patient, take your time, look at the instructions for proper orientation and such. I was introduced to the wonderful world of toothpicks which are one of the staples in all of these sets and you need to be careful and strategic when using them.

My wife and I bought this for ourselves and we really enjoyed putting it together. It was quite difficult and took us several hours to assemble. The instructions are mostly images, but they proved surprisingly helpful. We were thankful it worked the first time after we were done! The parts are very accurate and I was pleased that the thickness of the parts is strong enough (not like cardboard but like a thin laminate). The most interesting thing about the marble climber is that its parts are perfectly finished and fit together very well. There were a few photos where it wasn't entirely clear how the pieces fit together. What you can do is make the images a little larger or show a little more detail in critical areas. Otherwise, your puzzles are quite fun. It took me two days to assemble the marble climber. I had to improvise a bit to get the balls all the way down. Otherwise I think you have a great product…

Bought this for my 8 year old son hoping he would put it together with some adult help. It's definitely an improvement over the Lego set. But a great opportunity to learn how to follow directions, get organized and work with a "project manager". The wood is strong enough, but it's easy to overdo it with the effort required to hold the pieces together. Overall this is a pretty good model. The most fun part is the build, which takes around 2.5 to 3 hours if you don't make too many mistakes. The diagrams in the instructions are a bit small, and some of them are drawn at the wrong angle, making it difficult to see where the pieces go. The small stick of wax that comes with the model is great for lubricating the axles. This was a fun project for my 13 year old grandson and I when we worked together. There were a few tricky parts to assemble, but overall it worked very well. The details are laser cut and very precise. It's amazing how strong it is put together as no fasteners or glue are used to hold it together. When we finished we had a small problem as the marble walkway didn't work properly. We found that we had assembled one of the blades backwards and while it was a slight deviation it made a difference.
