Chair travel at its finest!

I love 4D puzzles. Paris is a place I haven't been to and I'm dying to visit, so putting this puzzle together was just fun and I'm looking forward to my next visit. The puzzle levels are tricky but not overly difficult, and adding buildings at the end is just plain fun, especially if you follow chronological order.

great as a gift. suitable for puzzles

I received it as a Christmas present and the recipient was delighted. The puzzle looks difficult but I'm not very good at jigsaw puzzles so I gave it to someone else. The puzzle has three levels. The first is a historical map of the city, I don't remember the date, but it's been a long time. The next layer is a modern street map that looks like a part of a city and finally the third layer is a part of a 3D building puzzle. like I said, it looks like fun.

A fun learning tool! - Puzzle

We're still working on this and enjoying what we're learning along the way. As we built the puzzle base, adding monuments each time, my son and I read the history of France and what was happening back then. Wonderful! So far we have found an error in the timeline. Opera Garnier is listed on the timeline as being built in 1706, but everything we found says 1875. Not a big problem, but the parts are numbered correctly, so as of now they are all one.

Missing and broken parts. Not worth the money.

I bought this in preparation for a trip to Paris later this year, thinking it would be a fun way to learn more about the city. Unfortunately, my puzzle had three missing pieces and an extra bridge. The styrofoam pieces broke easily and I had to be extra careful putting them together. The print was misaligned which meant the white cut outs for multiple buildings were visible even when I punched through the buildings. It was such a disappointment, especially given the price. I will return this…

Puzzle as a gift in Puzzles

The puzzle was given to his wife. For items with a large number (1000 pieces or more), the absence of something can be characteristic. I put together a Christmas Lego scene. It had extra small pieces and a large piece was missing. This puzzle is a multi-layered case. The base layer was missing three pieces, and one of the outermost pieces was a duplicate. He also had a note from the company about the missing items, according to his wife. I don't know how long it will take to get the missing…

Not only funny, but also practical for the visually impaired!

This product allows me to share my passion for jigsaw puzzles with my visually impaired husband! After assembling the first layer (traditional cardboard, historical Paris) and then putting the second layer on top (thicker sponge, modern Paris), we installed the buildings in their chronological order. Not only was it a shared learning experience, but he now has a better understanding of how far apart buildings, neighborhoods, etc. are (easier than flying there for Boots on the Ground), and we…

Not just a picture cut into pieces, but a well-designed puzzle!

I already have 4 of these -- and the 4th part isn't even the best of them! collect. The water isn't just blue - it has gradations and boats in all the right places. The northern banks of the river are drawn differently than the southern ones. Different drawing styles are used for similar geographic features so you can tell the difference. There are subtle clues throughout the picture that make the puzzle an absolute joy to work with. So different from jigsaw puzzles which are just a picture cut

I wish I would have liked it more!

We bought this car thinking it would be fun for the whole family in preparation for a trip to Paris. We love puzzles, but we found this one a bit disappointing. First, the accuracy of the cuts on the first layer was fine. Many parts had to be carefully separated to avoid tearing. That's typical for $10 puzzles, but given the price, we expected more. The second layer almost did not separate. Stamping all the parts took forever. Directions were also missing. I think what was said was to build up…

3D details are terribly inaccurate without real guidance

This is a nightmare for someone who grew up in Paris. I gave it two stars because both the 1805 and modern puzzles are fairly easy, but not overly so. Very beautiful. But when it comes to buildings, not only are they totally inaccurate shapes, very cheap bad plastic, but the main problem is that the shapes on the so-called building instructions and the 3D plastic don't match. Example: Pont des Arts has 6 equally spaced legs. There is no 3D bridge in plastic molds with six legs. Just one with 5…
