Let me start with how I got this product. I googled "most accurate thermometers" and came across a specific product, I believe the company was called Chosen. It said the product I was referring to was an older version. The product I reviewed was an 8-in-1 thermometer. This product is what you pay for. It's no more or less accurate than the cheap thermometer you buy at the pharmacy. I have taken more than 10 temperature readings and they have been getting progressively higher, about a tenth of a degree at each reading OR MORE. Sometimes it reads the same, but often it doesn't. As others have said it is not contactless. You have to touch his forehead. I would say that is overpriced but now all thermometers are like that. Also just a note, they ask for good reviews in exchange for a gift card, I was offered $30. Overall nothing good, but not terrible either.
