There was a time when my daughter was a newborn when she would get stuffy noses constantly. We finally bought one of these and it made a world of difference! The sheer amount of snot it would clear from her nasal passages simultaneously grossed me out and fascinated me. It helped my daughter for sure.My husband always has the "pleasure" of sucking out the gunk because the thought of doing it makes me vomit internally. Oh, and he has never gotten sick once doing it. Clean up is easy enough, as…

Pros
  • I can't imagine what i would do without this nasal aspiratorIt's a life saving
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with severe allergies or sinus issues

All parents need this or the electric version

The old blue nose sucker is worthless compared to this. No, as the snot sucker you will not get snot in your mouth. It's super easy to clean between sucks and change the foam filter. Our children didn't love it but it was effective and not as torturous as other parent jobs. We finally started asking our almost three-year-old when he cried for a tissue if he would like to be snot sucked or try blowing his nose, and that was motivation to learn and we now have a nose blower. Will keep this for…

Pros
  • Product works really well
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or irritation when used on sensitive nasal tissue

Works great good for me

I wasn’t sure about sucking boogers out of my baby’s nose using suction from my mouth, but this product is great. My newborn son gets a lot of boogers deep in his nasal passage that the nasal aspirator bulbs can’t get. I used the Nose Frida along with the saline spray, and I was able to suck them out with no problem. He can breathe so much better now, and I would highly recommend this over the bulbs. There’s also a long tube and filters, so there’s no way to accidentally suck the boogers into…

Pros
  • Nose Frida has made it easy to help my baby during her sickly days. We have about 3 and we love them!
Cons
  • May not work effectively for all users

Great product, definitely does not filter the virus/bacteria itself

Great product for suctioning out the nasal cavity! Thr filter does prevent mucus and snot from getting into your mouth. However, one thing to know, is that any germs that get free while suctioning, are most definitely going to end up in your mouth. You're not feeling anything go in there, but there is no way a piece of plastic foam is going to stop particles from getting through. These are not woven as tight as even a cloth mask; those germs are getting into your mouth and throat. You will get…

Pros
  • Helps maintain healthy nasal hygiene
Cons
  • Can be messy or inconvenient to use during travel or away from home

100 % Must Have! in my review

Parent or parent to be? Please buy this and hope you dont even have to use it but just have it. Gets even the smallest snots out.Works soo much better than the bulb sunction.

Pros
  • Helps babies and children feel more comfortable and less irritable
Cons
  • May provide temporary relief, but not a permanent solution for nasal congestion

This really helps our baby

Our baby has really been struggling with a stuffy nose. We recently did some traveling with him up north and the dryer weather made it worse. I tried the NoseFrida over and over again without it really working well, so I got on Best Buy to read reviews and see what I might have been doing wrong. I came across the NoseFrida Saline Mist. what a life saver! One quick spray of this into our son's nose followed by using the NozeFrida and he is all cleared up and breathing easy. He doesn't care for…

Pros
  • it was easy to use and great!
Cons
  • May require multiple applications to fully clear nasal passages

Works great, but prepare to get sick

First off - this thing can run circles around the bulb aspirators. Baby hates it, but at least it's effective and over quickly. Can't really clean the tubing, though, and if you put a few drops of rubbing alcohol in like it recommends, that's what you inhale next time you use it. We made sure to change out the filter every time we used it (even bought extras), but it's literally just a little piece of synthetic sponge. It keeps the snot out of the tubing (which, as stated earlier, is basically…

Pros
  • Pediatrician recommended
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use on young children who are uncooperative or unaccustomed to the process

Saves lives for my opinion

I thank Whoever invented this everyday. I cannot stretch enough how much this means to me. It saved my daughter from cold and congestion. She is only 3 month old and she was suffering severely. Thanks to the suction I was able to keep her nose clean so that she can eat and sleep normal. I recommend it highly.

Pros
  • Can be used in tandem with NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator
Cons
  • May cause temporary discomfort or pain if used incorrectly or excessively

Use this daily good for me

I did not want to spend the extra money for an electric one so opted for this. Sometimes it’s hard to get the suction to get those stubborn boogers but I use this everyday!

Pros
  • Helps prevent further complications like ear infections
Cons
  • May require frequent clean-up or maintenance to prevent clogging or bacterial growth

Work very well. best in my review

Used this on my baby every time he’d get stuffy and immediately softens up the mucus making it easy for us to suction it using the NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator.

Pros
  • Baby Products
Cons
  • Can be time-consuming to use, especially with multiple applications daily

Works every time good for me

This seems gross, but it always does the job. It is a bit tricky to clean though - I have to use a brush made for reusable straws in order to get the gunk out.

Pros
  • Más practico de usar que el otro que tiene esta misma marca sinceramente es muy practico 👌🏻
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use on babies or young children who do not understand the purpose or process

Best thing ever! in my review

I’m so glad I came across this! I was using the bulb sucker thing (that’s doesn’t do much) This has got to be the best thing, u control the power of suction which gets ALL the nasties out. Super easy to take apart and rinse clean. The nasal spray and extra filters are a bonus…love this!

Pros
  • Can be used before bed to help promote better sleep
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with certain sensitivities or breathing conditions

Best baby product ever

This is absolutely the best baby product ever. I never would have thought a snot sucker could be so important but it’s a must-have essential. We just recently bought our second one with our second kid. The first lasted 3+ years and saw a lot of use. The most effective snot sucker on the market.

Pros
  • CONVENIENT - Easy-to-use spray format
Cons
  • Can be messy and require clean-up after use

It gets the baby clean BUT…

I liked it for over a year. I can get my baby’s nose clean and I am fine. But now my baby is in daycare and getting a variety of very virulent bacteria and virus. I clean his nose and whatever grows in his nose goes straight into my trachea. The sponge cannot stop the droplets and aerosols. I am coughing badly now and have lost my voice. I wish I did not use it!

Pros
  • Can also be used by adults with sinus issues
Cons
  • May not be effective for all types of nasal congestion or snot removal

Great product: my feedback

My grandbaby was so stuffy she had a problem sleeping. Bought the saline put in her nose and it suction a lot out. After the second use, she could breath and wasn't irritated. Would recommend for all parents new born baby's or even toddlers.

Pros
  • They’ve gotten cheaper over the years
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or pain if incorrectly used

Excellent and absolutely worth it

I have had this a while now, my baby is 7.5 months and this is her first flu. We actually forgot about this item until that night when she was so congested she couldn't sleep. At first use we didn't use the spray ( actually forgot it) . The suction was absolutely amazing. By the second day, we realized the spray was in the box and have not turned back since. This is sooo AMAZING! HYGENIC! And now that baby realizes what it does for her she's actually happy for us to use on her. I'll buy thia…

Pros
  • It's gross but it's what really works when you have a congested infant.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use without assistance for some users

Great Product. not so thrilled about the packaging issue

One of these was gifted to me when I had my daughter and I love it. It's so effective; forewarning however she hates the process. She screams like banshee while I use it but then is pretty happy with the fact that she can breathe afterwards. So when this popped up on my SIL's registry I knew I wanted to get one for her. The first product I ordered had clearly been used - and I didn't order it used I ordered it off of tje registry. The filters were two different colors and there were no saline…

Pros
  • Works quickly and efficiently
Cons
  • Can be costly compared to traditional saline solutions or remedies

Must have for a sick baby

This is a necessity when you have a baby! It is easy to use just make sure you also get saline nose spray and use that prior to suctioning, it really helps them to breathe easier and mine didn’t mind at all when I used it

Pros
  • Easy to use spray bottle
Cons
  • May require significant time investment to use effectively

Works great on my review.

This is dependent on your lung ability lol so the suction power part is ridiculous as that will vary. It saved my daughter's nose when she was sick, though she hated it. My lungs eventually got tired and I wasn't able to use it as good but it definitely helped. Beware: other people will violently gag when you tell them about it or if they see you doing it. I guess it's different when you're a mom lol

Pros
  • No harsh chemicals or potential irritants
Cons
  • Can be frustrating if not used properly or effectively

Recommended best in my review

My baby used to cry w the normal pump and this is so much easier sucks everything OUT and best part he doesn’t cry anymore. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Very good product
Cons
  • May not be effective for removing hard or dried mucus
