Great product for suctioning out the nasal cavity! Thr filter does prevent mucus and snot from getting into your mouth. However, one thing to know, is that any germs that get free while suctioning, are most definitely going to end up in your mouth. You're not feeling anything go in there, but there is no way a piece of plastic foam is going to stop particles from getting through. These are not woven as tight as even a cloth mask; those germs are getting into your mouth and throat. You will get sick. I personally think it's worth getting sick to be able to adequately suction my baby's nasals. But let's be real, you are likely going to get sick from your baby whether or not you're using this suction😂
