I doubt that the masks are made of silk. Satin, yes, but silk? Probably no. The metal nosepiece is uncomfortable and difficult to adjust to my face. They are NOT reversible if you wear makeup as this will stain the white satin inside. The internal padding is very thick and I wouldn't recommend using it for double camouflage. However, they are well made and the ear loops are easy to adjust. The mask fits my face very well, which is a plus. I'm sure there are people who love masks, I'm just not one of them. They are just "fur" in my opinion.
