It has a sharp lens and lots of extra features (B shutter speed, slow flash sync, etc) at an entry-level price. I always carried an SLR with extra lenses, but this summer I bought one for my daughter before we went to Washington DC. I ended up using the EZY-R more than my big Nikon, and the photos I took (mostly daytime landscapes and family shots) were just as good as the Nikon. It has the same limitations as any [similar] camera, but I think it's a good product if you know those limitations.
