I've been looking for a new digital camera for a few months and am trying to narrow down my selection. I've been using my proven Fuji Finepix 2400 Zoom for 2 years and I'm very satisfied with the pictures taken. But at 2 MP I've outgrown it a bit. I've always been a fan of Sony products, but in the digital camera market, their prices are a bit high. Then came the Cybershot DSCP32. It got great reviews on all major websites like pcphotoreview.com, steves-digicams.com, Revain.com etc and everyone seems to like it. The problem, however, is that you can get it for less than $200. I won't list all the specs, I think everyone here has already covered it, but let's just say if you gift this to a digital newbie they will love you because everything you need is included. Nobody else can tell. Camera, "film", batteries and charger! As a lifelong skeptic, I immediately try to see how good things are. Judging by things like ease of use, features, and if I can even take a damn picture just by holding it up and clicking the shutter button. Yes you can. I did just that, set the date and time, inserted the memory card into the card reader and opened the image in Photoshop. Oh my God! The colors were rich, with no obvious pixelation, and I could even "clearly" see what was on the TV screen where the camera was partially aimed. The only reason I rated it 4 stars, 5 to be honest I only had 4 hours and something could go wrong. But now trust me this is another winner from Sony and a great buy!
