I installed these on my boat trailer and wish I had done it many years ago. Our trailer has long carpet boards instead of rollers. We need to drive the boat onto the trailer with some force to get it centered properly. If we melt it, it will always be crooked. With these guides we can now drive the boat and it will center itself! Installing the guides was pretty easy. I walked slowly and followed the instructions. I watched the video. It took extra time to make sure I placed the screw holes in the correct position so I could press the boards onto the boat properly. Lots of flexibility for different trailer styles, but take your time and plan. Installation took a couple of hours as I pre-assembled and loosely slid it on before finally drilling and tightening. They look good and work great.
