Review on πŸ”’ Exploring Safety and Comfort: PETZL 8003 Full Body Harness - Men's 1 by Alex Taylor

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a Mountain Mama, but a lot better than you think due to the lack of padding.

I bought this harness for my wife in the summer of 2015 and am amused that later reviews seem to have bought it for the same reason - pregnant and can't get the Mountain Mama pregnancy harness (I put it on ). I don't know the production status of this harness but my purchase was about a week before a climbing trip to France and my mom had over 30 days to make it.) My wife is about 5ft 6in tall. ", and this harness was perfect for her. She was just entering her second trimester and had not climbed until then, but desperately needed a harness that would take the pressure off her stomach. It was comfortable enough (for a harness without padding) both when belaying and descending There are a few minor things to consider when using this harness: Can be triaxial * However, the big problem with this harness's attachment points is that they are raised much higher than traditional harnesses (just under armpit height), making long hair easy to get into a belay device (quickly leading to a "really bad day” for everyone involved)* There are only two gear loops, which limits rack space (not how you feel). at the top at this point.) A strong harness for use during pregnancy (or when climbing efforts are required. Part of the body), and e.g At all other times the climber/belayer must remain upright. I also firmly believe that climbing is better than not at all.
