The rubber seal should have been much thicker. I think mine is just bad because it didn't even fit very tightly in the valve cover so now oil can still run down my valve cover. I usually have good luck with Stant products so I guess this time I'll just make my own pad to use with their lid and get it up to what passed on Friday.
