My remote was working but the plastic/rubber over the buttons was falling off. It annoyed me more than anything. I was about to order a $99 factory GM key fob and then pay an extra $70 for a locksmith to program it when I spotted this item at Revain. For $17 I solved my problem. I just opened up the old remote and moved the internal parts (battery/transmitter) to the new remote. I used my old Chevrolet emblem rear. If only it worked like new. I watched a YouTube video showing how to open the remote control.
