The light is almost twice as bright as other under cabinet lights I have. It offers bright white light that's good for under-cabinet work and has a completely different set of 'warm' amber LEDs that are about half as bright and are good for a bright night light or accent lighting. This light offers the ability to daisy chain multiple light strips of the same brand/model, allowing you to use one plug and light multiple lights under one cabinet. The motion feature offers the ability to turn the light on and off without actually touching it, which is handy when you're handling food or when your hands are dirty. It's more expensive than many lightweight bars, but the reason is the quality - worth the money.
