I've been thinking for a while about buying an Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple Magic Mouse 2 for $139, but spending that much on a keyboard (and still having to buy a mouse) doesn't seem right logical me. I needed something that supports Mavericks as I still use that OS for my recording software (the Apple keyboard doesn't support Mavericks). BUT even their keyboard costs the same as Apple's (because it's backlit and you can switch between Bluetooth devices). We continue. So I kept looking for something economical that would get the job done. I found this keyboard and saw positive reviews so I decided to give it a try. I like the keyboard very much. I use it with my iMac and work PC; The shortcuts for switching between them are awesome and connect pretty quickly. Pros: Looks very sharp. It doesn't look cheap and is close enough to an Apple keyboard for me to be comfortable. The TAD keys are slightly heavier than the Apple keys. It took me a minute to get used to it, but now I have the same comfort as an Apple wired keyboard. I've been using it for over a day and the internal battery is still working. The keyboard has a power button but will automatically go to sleep when not in use. I connected it to my iPhone for fun, and there are keyboard shortcuts for Home, Lock, Find, Brightness, and Volume. This is really very cool! I just wish I could use tab/page up or down to navigate between screens/open apps, but I didn't buy this keyboard for full control of my iPhone, so whatever. All in all, this is a great purchase. It's a little over 1/3 the price of an Apple keyboard and seems to do everything I need and it lasts a long time. CONS: The ONLY thing I would change about this keyboard is the FN key. There are two of them, which reduces the size of the CMD keys. I use these buttons a lot, so it takes a bit of getting used to when I keep pressing the button, but given the $90 price difference, I'll adjust. to have a backup just in case. UPDATE: I've had the keyboard for almost a month and it's still working. I think the battery will need to be recharged soon as I've found it lags at times when waking up but hasn't charged it yet and has been running it for 8 hours a day (plus home use). One VERY great thing about this bluetooth keyboard is that it connects fast enough to complete the boot options at startup. For example, when I boot up my iMac and hold down option, the keyboard connects automatically and doesn't skip its move. Even cooler, it automatically connects when you restore your computer. So even if you haven't plugged it in yet, you can still use it to boot from other/new disks to install OS. I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD. THANK YOU MACALLY! I'm so glad I didn't buy a crappy $140 Apple keyboard.
