the watch itself is beautiful the lettering is easy to read and i think my dad will like it no matter what you can see from the pictures there are some signs of wear where the paint is peeling and wood becomes visible. Things happen so I don't get upset but as it's an abomination it means a lot to him because I'm giving it to him after seeing him for a while and it's disappointing that it's not perfect - it is, like they themselves say the clock is ticking, that's all that matters. I recommend this gift as it's beautiful, I just advise everyone to be careful it doesn't arrive in perfect condition, but the wear and tear is really light and hardly noticeable so it's not too bad.
